When you are called to testify in a dispute, do not be swayed by the crowd to twist justice.Ħ. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!ĥ.
1 Peter 4:15-16 If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs. But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Brothers, do not get tired of doing what is right.Ĥ. You are not busy working - you are busy interfering in other people’s lives! We order and encourage such people by the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, to do their work quietly and to earn their own living. 2 Thessalonians 3:11-13 We hear that some of you are living in idleness. Even so, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you to love them even more. M ake it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. Then people who are not Christians will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others.ģ. 1 Thessalonians 4:10-12 Indeed, you already show your love for all the believers throughout Macedonia. Proverbs 26:17 Interfering in someone else’s argument is as foolish as yanking a dog’s ears.Ģ. You won’t have time to meddle in another person’s situations.ġ. Many people want to know your business not to help, but just to know it and have something to gossip about. These Scriptures have nothing to do with correcting someone who is rebelling against God, but the Bible says stop being nosy.ĭon’t put your input on matters that don’t concern you. The Bible tells us that Christians shouldn’t meddle in other people’s business, but to worry about their own affairs. Since putting out her first four-track EP “Sour Grapefruit” in 2019, she has played South by Southwest (SXSW) and opened for the likes of OSHUN, Nomi Ruiz, Bunny Michael and more. As an electronic musician, she pulls sonic and visual influences from the likes of Björk and Frank Ocean, her South Texas hometown, the Gulf Coast, cellulite and slow coffee in the morning. Her curiosities in those areas inform most of her projects today, which includes accidentally founding a nonprofit festival and learning club called Future Front Texas and producing within her studio, group work, to design communication strategies and experiences for clients.
